With over 15 years of experience, I have developed a strong foundation in the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of steel making and refining equipment. My expertise encompasses a wide range of skills, including:

  • Design, construction, and commissioning of process control systems, encompassing automation, human-machine interfaces, drive systems, field devices, and power systems, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of steel making processes, specializing in arc furnace technology, ladle refining technology, and ancillary support systems, such as raw materials handling, electrical power, cooling, dust handling, waste gas handling, and recycling plants.

  • Extensive technical support experience throughout the entire equipment lifecycle, from construction to commissioning and operation, ensuring optimal equipment performance and compliance with contractual requirements.

Electromechanical Engineering Technician – Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche SPA, Udine, ITALY

Industry: Engineering and Manufacturing Steelmaking Plants

During my tenure at Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche SPA, I have undertaken a pivotal role in the management and technical support of various projects involving the construction, commissioning, and customer handover of steel production equipment. These projects were executed across a diverse range of global locations, including Europe (Spain, Germany, and Italy), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Egypt and United Emirates), Asia (China, South Korea), and North America (Oklahoma, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Texas, Missouri, Florida, Ohio and Arizona). My role encompassed: providing technical support and advisory services for advanced maintenance, leveraging the expertise gained as an OEM manufacturer, in addition to overseeing site and safety management activities.

Oct 2008 to Apr 2012

Electromechanical engineering technician – Altopack SPA, Lucca, ITALY

Industry: Engineering and Manufacturing food packaging plants

Oversaw the end-to-end process of manufacturing, testing, installing, and commissioning packaging equipment for various projects primarily located in the Middle East and Europe. Key responsibilities included:

Successfully managing site operations and providing technical advisory services for multiple projects, ensuring the installation of proprietary equipment and meticulous engineering development for short and long good packaging machines.
